Raspberry Pi 3 Headless Install

13 Dec 2016 - by @mrjk_

I thought I let fellow hackers out there that are new to Raspberry Pi that in the latest build of Raspbian SSH is actually disabled by default.

This means you will either need to connect directly to the Raspberry Pi or by using the following technique:

  1. Go to the SD Card with your Raspbian Jessie Lite / Full image
  2. Create a new file in the root of the boot and name is ssh with no file extensions or anything inside

And bingo! You now have access to the SSH server via headless!
